During this year’s General Assembly, EUROPUR members elected a new Board of Directors, and we are pleased to share that Carlos Pereira, CEO of Flex2000, has been re-elected as a Board Member. His continued presence reflects both his deep industry expertise and the trust the market places in the role Flex2000 plays across Europe.

Carlos Pereira's re-election is not just a recognition of the past, it’s a statement of commitment to helping steer the industry towards a future of transparency, innovation and sustainability.

Another highlight for Flex2000 this year was Carlos Pereira’s participation in a key panel discussion on the Iberian Peninsula. Alongside other leaders from the region, he explored the specific dynamics, challenges, and opportunities for polyurethane foam manufacturers operating in Portugal and Spain.

From the need for raw material security to the importance of regulatory harmonisation, the panel addressed core concerns for regional producers and customers alike.

During the event, one point of great pride was once again highlighted: Flex2000 was recognised as the largest flexible polyurethane foam production plant in Europe. This recognition, mentioned during EUROPUR 2025, reinforces the position we have built over more than four decades of work, investment, and commitment to quality.

Our size is not just a matter of scale, but of responsibility. The greater the capacity, the greater the impact and the stronger our commitment must be to innovation, sustainability, and customer service.

Being a volume leader also means being at the forefront of technology, quality control processes, and forward-thinking vision. At Flex2000, we do not take that role lightly.
